Using Inclusive Language in Museums

Not everyone understands the ways that language used in exhibits, educations materials and communications can be inclusive or exclusive. Join colleagues to discuss inclusive language generally, but also about specific terms for individuals and communities and best practice and use. 

Location: The MMA Zoom account. You can join via phone or internet. Instructions for connecting will be sent with registration confirmation. 

The session will be facilitated by MMA Executive Director Lisa Craig Brisson. 

Registration is free, but some members have requested the option to make a donation as part of their participation. Because of this, we added a registration option that includes a $5 donation. You can also make a donation of any amount here. Thank you!
